Albert Lee Sullenger, 82, died July 28, 2013, at his home in Marston.
Born April 2, 1931, in Peach Orchard, son of the late James Luther "Tom" and Letha Ada Looney Sullenger, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a deacon of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Miner and a member of Eagles Aerie 4206 and Harley Owners Group.
On April 11, 1956, he married Doris Jean Ramage, who preceded him in death on Nov. 19, 1998.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Lynn Albert and Karen Sullenger of New Madrid; one daughter and son-in-law, Dana Jean and Joe Scott of Freeburg; three sisters, Myrle Baker of Sikeston, Louise Still of New Madrid; and Lottie (Robert) McCoy of Marston; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Sullenger Webster.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. John Tartar will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Walter Campbell, Ben David Ashley, Jeff Brand, Robert Hayes, Harold Allred and David Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be: David Lane and Jerry Alley.
