Alex Fowler, 80 of Kewanee, MO., passed away October 27, 2014 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born January 5, 1934 in West Monroe, LA, to the late Oder "O.M." and Kathleen Blazier Fowler. He was a member of the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church. On Oct. 4, 1952, in Piggott, Ark., he married Ola Evelena Taylor Fowler, who preceded him in death on January 5, 2013. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by; one son, Joey Fowler, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include; two sons and three daughters-in-law, Randy and Emma Fowler of the Lilbourn/Kewanee community, and Tim and Lynette Fowler and Karen Fowler of New Madrid; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Tom McCoy of Catron; two sisters, Elizabeth Boulton of Malden and Betty Jo Alderson of Wardell, two brothers, Willie Fowler of New Madrid and Fred Fowler of Bernie, MO; nine grandchildren, Kristi Fowler Bond, Amy Fowler Walker, Tommy McCoy, Terry McCoy, Jaclyn Halliday, Natalie Fowler, Sarah Fowler Ezell, Allison Fowler and Caroline Fowler; six great-grandchildren, Madison Bond, Gavin Bond, Macy McCanless, Ayden McCanless, Kaylin McCoy and Jackson McCoy; a host of other relatives and friends.
