Benny Brock DYERSBURG, Tenn. — Benny Brock, 67, formerly of Marston, Mo., died Oct. 20, 2012, at his home in Dyersburg. Born Aug. 15, 1945, in Lendy, Mo., to the late James L. and Helen Copeland Brock, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a retired power plant consultant for Associated Electric Co. On Nov. 25, 1968, he married Sherry Bramlett, who survives of the home. Also surviving are: one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Gary Don Swilley of Conran; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Larry and Linda Raymer of Medina, James Brock, Gerald and Julie Brock and Paul Brock of Marston; Billy Brock of Roberts, Ky.; and a granddaughter of Marston, Mo. He was preceded in death by one brother, J.D. Raymer. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. G.L. Keene officiated. Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery.
