Obituary

Billy Ray "Buster" Kimball, 76, passed away March 17, 2013 at his home in Lilbourn. He was born December 31, 1936 in New Madrid, to the late Gladys and Jake Kimball. He founded "Buster" Kimball Painting Company in 1955, and the business is still family owned and operated today. In 1953 in New Madrid, he married Vunda Sue Knight, who preceded him in death on October 2, 2004. Survivors include: five sons and four daughters-in-law, Gary and Carol Kimball of Sikeston, Jimmy and Robin Kimball of New Madrid, David and Inez Kimball of Risco, Billy Kimball, Jr. of Lilbourn, and Carl and Jamie Kimball of Lilbourn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Rodney Norman of Portageville and Robin and Gary Phillips of Marston; two brothers, Watson Kimball and Carl "Binks" Kimball; two sisters, Lillian "Babe Ruth" Davis and Shirley Cash; 19 Grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren; and one canine companion, Apollo. Visitation will be Wednesday March 20, 2013 at Richards Funeral Home New Madrid Chapel from 11:00 am until the time the funeral service starts at 1:00 pm. Bro. Larry Gammons will officiate, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid. Pallbearers; Jake Kimball, Gary Phillips, Jr., Ross Baker, David Kimball, Jr., B.J.
