Billy Gene Farmer, 72, died Aug. 11, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Born June 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Watts and Ola Farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Ann Farmer; and a son, Timothy Farmer. Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Milly and Robert Stanley of New Madrid and Marty Reno of Marble Hill; one brother, Eap Farmer of Tennessee; two sisters, Martha Lou Nunnery of Tennessee and Betty J. Brown of Oregon; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home were services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow at Mounds Park Cemetery
