Cora E. Taylor, 93, of Marston, Mo., passed away January 25, 2013 at her home. On July 10, 1919 in Pisgah, Arkansas, she was born to the late John Holcomb and Hettie Ann Steed Roundtree. She was a member of the Kewanee Missionary Baptist Church for over 73 years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by: her husband Walter Von Taylor preceded in 1973, one son, Charles Stephen Taylor, four sisters and one brother. Survivors include: two daughters, Lee Ann (Lee) Foy of Huntsville, AL., and Mary Lou (Sam) Ash of Marston, four grandchildren, Christi (Ben) Ashley of New Madrid, Mark Ash of Marston, Lenny Foy of Huntsville, AL., and Leisa Foy LeNoir of Huntsville, Al., nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, and one daughter-in-law, wife of Charles Stephen, Teresa Moore Taylor of Sikeston, Mo. Visitation 10-2 p.m. Sunday at Richards Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral begins at 2 p.m. at Richards Chapel in New Madrid. Rev. Dan Wisely and Rev. Andrew Green officiating. Burial at Mounds Park near Lilbourn.
