A memorial Mass will be celebrated for George David Hedgepeth at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, at the Immaculate Conception Church in New Madrid with the Rev. Jaroslaw Skrzypek officiating. David, 47 years old, passed away on Tuesday morning, Nov. 17, 2015, in New Madrid. Born Aug. 4, 1968, he was the son of Sam and Carolyn Dawson Hedgepeth. He was a graduate of New Madrid County Central High School. Besides his parents of the Kansas City area, other survivors include his daughter, Sarah Lyn Ellis, Blytheville, Ark.; his sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Eddie Caesar, Belton; his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Kym Hedgepeth, Dallas, Texas; Aldo De la Torre, who resided with the family many years, and his wife, Rebecca, Colorado Springs; twin nephews, Sam and Will Caesar; nieces, Bailey and Ashlyn Hedgepeth; Zara, Sebastian and Nicole De la Torre; and special family friends, G and Jane Ann Dawson, New Madrid. Graveside services will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
