Obituary

Donald Darryl Lee Langley, 67, died Feb. 21, 2016, at his home in New Madrid. Born Nov. 26, 1948, in Valley Park, to the late Charles "Bill" and Elizabeth "Betty" Chadd Langley, he was in the  U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-1978, and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a member of the New Madrid Baptist Church and a 3rd Degree Mason in Lodge 108 in New Madrid. On Feb. 20, 1999, in New Madrid, he married Alice Kelley Boyer, and she survives of the home. Also surviving are: two sons, Rickie Cole Sr. and Robbie Boyer Sr.; two daughters, Cindy Bailey and Tatia Dodd; six brothers, John Langley, Robert Langley Sr., Charles Dickens, Alford Dickens, Harold Dickens and Scott Dickens; four sisters, Shirley Wilson, Sharon Gail Langley, Ellen Duckworth and Judy White; and 10 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Jerry Dickens and Clarence Dickens; one sister, Sherry Charlene Langley; and three grandsons. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Thursday at the New Madrid Baptist Church with Jeff Polk officiating. Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield
