Dorothy L. Emery, 96, died February 24, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Born September 24, 1918, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Louis and Sophie Plueck, Dorothy, and her late husband, Keith Emery, moved to New Madrid in 1969. Dorothy was married to Keith Emery on September 18, 1938, and they remained married until Keith's death, January 14, 1992. Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Joan Brown (Tom Brown), Susan Wegner (David Barker), and Mary Murphy, two sons, Richard Emery (Carol Emery) and James Emery, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation is scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
