Evelyn J. Walker, 62, died March 1, 2013, at Hunter Acres Care Center in Sikeston. She was born Nov. 1, 1950, in Osceola, Ark., to the late Walter and Lorene Rhodes Foster. She was married to Lonnie Walker, who survives. Other survivors include: three daughters, Tonya Jones of Sikeston, Rackel Jones of Kansas City, Mo., and Billie Jean Jones of Wisconsin; two sons, David Foster of New Madrid and Andre Foster of Fulton; one sister, Deloris Morgan of Aurora, Ill.; six brothers, James Foster, Walter Louis Foster, Ira Gene Foster, Willie Alexander of New Madrid Mo, Wilburn Alexander of Hinesville, Ga., and Bruce Alexander of Chicago; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation is  from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon Saturday at the Mount Olive Church in New Madrid. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
