Florence Shaw CAPE GIRARDEAU — Florence Lucille Meyer Shaw, 61, died Sept. 26, 2012, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. Born Nov. 27, 1950, in Cairo, Ill., to the late Carl A. and Lucille Francis Watley Meyer Sr., she was a member of the Marine Corps Ladies Auxiliary where she was the 2004 Member of the Year. She was active in Toys for Tots and Bingo fundraisers. She was married to Roy L. Shaw Sr., and he preceded her in death. Survivors include: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roy L. and Niki Shaw Jr. of Sikeston and Robert Shaw of Cape Girardeau; two daughters and a son-in-law, Angela Shaw of Sikeston and Tina Lucille and Matt Blythe of Norfolk, Va.; and five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with Larry Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
