Gene Ramsey SIKESTON — Wm. E. "Gene" Ramsey passed away April 28, 2015, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston at the age of 67 years. He was born July 27, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Willis Lee "Cowboy" and Alberta Allen Ramsey. On May 6, 1970, he married Sara Crumpecker, who survives of the home. Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, William G. and Amy Ramsey of Richland, Wash.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Garett Ryfa of Peachtree City, Ga., and Jenna and Ben Doering of Wellborn, Fla.; two sisters, Charlotte Jones and Mary Lynn Riley of New Madrid; and five grandchildren, Alex Ramsey, Jim Ramsey, Lela Ramsey, Brennan Ryfa and Nolan Ryfa. Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Friday at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. Rev. Mr. Deacon James Darter will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date.
