Ida Maben NEW MADRID — Ida B. Maben, 75, died Feb. 26, 2012, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born Feb. 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George and Rosetta Smith. She was married to the Rev. Wilbert Maben, and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by: one son, Will Taylor; one daughter, Aritha Clark; three brothers, A.G. Smith, George Smith and Willie Smith; and five sisters, Sara Smith, Laura Currie, Alberta Maben, Josephine Brown and Georgia Mae. Survivors include: two sons, Sammy Thomas of Jackson, Mich., and Wilbert Maben of New Madrid; two daughters, Joyce Ann Smith and Dorothy Harrington of New Madrid;  two brothers, Sunny Smith of Chicago and Larry Smith of the state of Oklahoma; one sister, Marie Lloyd of Chicago; and 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted March 3 at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.
