Obituary

Inez Baldwin MARSTON — Inez Baldwin died Sept. 22, 2011, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston at the age of 95 years. Born May 4, 1916, at Wolf Island, to the late Claude W. and Florence Maude Botter McNeely, she was a member of the Marston United Methodist Church, New Madrid Order of the Eastern Star, Marston Civic Club, Order of the White Shrine and was a volunteer at the Golden Living Center. She was a pianist for many local organization including playing for high school and elementary school programs. Inez had a zest for life and was loved by all. She was married to Virgil Baldwin, who preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1971. She was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Lee and Bob Cassidy of Daytona Beach, Fla., Gaila Ann and Jerry Kelso of Pevely and Marlan Sue and Butch Freed of Weldon Spring; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy V. and Rita Baldwin of Florissant, Terry M. and Detta Baldwin of Festus and Joe and Dottie Baldwin of Sikeston; one stepdaughter, Margaret Lois Elkins of Scotts Valley, Calif.; one sister, Dolly Redfeairin of Bakersville, Calif.; and 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted today at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. The Revs. Paula Mahar Eschenbrenner and Leland Butler officiated.
