James White Tallapoosa – James Harrison White, 62, passed on May 20, 2015. Born July 18, 1952, in Mishawaka, IN, to Bruce and Ruth White. On May 19, 1972, he married Cathy Owens, who survives of the home. Mr. White was a retired welding teacher of 22 years at New Madrid County Central Technical Skills Center. Family was the most important part of his life.  James has two sons and daughter-in-law:  Dewayne and Margaret and Nick and Tereasa White.  He also has three daughters and two son-in-law:  Stephanie and Tony Belmont, Sabrina and Chad Griffin, and Catherine White. His children blessed him with 12 grandchildren:  Paige, Ryan, Dylan, Chase, Nate, Alyssa, Sam, Marah, "Beaver", Caitlin, Bradi and Halle. His service will be held at New Madrid Baptist Church on Scott St. in New Madrid, MO on Saturday, May 23, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..  Come and go as you please.
