Kenneth Phelps NEW MADRID — Kenneth Dalton Ray Phelps, 60, died March 4, 2012, at his home. Born Nov. 26, 1951, in Kankakee, Ill., he was the son of the late Dalton Junior and Patricia Ann Ferguson Phelps. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Kristopher Dalton Ray Phelps. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Angela Lynn and Donovan Higgins and Michael Seth Phelps of Dublin, Calif.; two sisters, Kathleen Eula Davis of Cape Girardeau and Brenda Sue Lovins of Marston; one brother, Jerry Wayne Phelps of Richards, N.C.: and two grandchildren, Kaela Rose Higgins and Elliot Audrey Higgins of Dublin. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Richards Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Gammons officiating. Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery.
