Lenna Mae Simpson, 84, died Dec. 7, 2014, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Born Dec. 22, 1929, in Holcomb, to the late Herman and Helen Looney Sullenger, she was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Marston. On June 1, 1949, she married Davie George Simpson, and he preceded her in death in Sept. 1997. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Sullenger, Bobby Sullenger and Tony Sullenger. Survivors include: two daughters, Barbara Gail Giraudo of Lilbourn and Deboran Ann Simpson of Puxico; one brother, Tim Sullenger of Lilbourn; one sister, Goldie Haas of Cape Girardeau; one grandson, Jon Ross (Kelly) Giraudo of Pekin, Ill.; and two great-grandsons, Ethan Thomas Giraudo and Emmet Jones Giraudo of Pekin. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery.
