Leon Brockman August 15, 1944 to December 7, 2021

On August 15, 1944, a son Leon Brockman was born to Isiah and Goldena "McGee" Brockman. He was raised with 4 siblings: David Lee Brockman(deceased), Mary Ethel Brockman, Emma Lee Brockman and Linda Lou Brockman, all of New Madrid, Mo.

Leon grew up and worked in farming in his earlier years and later transitioned into the home health care services to the elderly with Tri County Home Health as the first male and his client's loved him. Leon was a friend and handyman to many. What he couldn't fix, he could manipulate it to work. He loved people and especially children. He has 4 children, 1 biological and 3 chosen. A daughter Cynthia Ann Beasley Boyd of Anderson, In; Robert "Buck" Green of Murphysboro, II; LeeAngela Green(deceased) and Betty Green of Sikeston, Mo. His memory is special to all his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends; especially Leon Wayne Green, his namesake and partner in crime.

His visitation is Thursday December 30, 2021 at 11:00am followed by the funeral at 12:00pm. Burial will be at the Sandy Hill Cemetery where other family matriarchs and patriarchs are buried. Richard's Funeral Home is in charge of services.
