Linda Sue Prince of New Madrid died Nov. 30, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau surrounded by her beloved family. She was 68 years old. She was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Blackjack, to Addison and Helen Harding. She is survived by: her husband, W.D. Prince (they were married for 47 wonderful years); three children, Tim Prince (Lea), Amy Hunter (Eric) and Becky LaValle (Edward) of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren, Nate, Ethan, Laurel, Chase, Eli and Savannah. She is also survived by four siblings, Donald Harding, Sally Winkler, David Harding and Barbara Standeford. Linda graduated from Hazlewood High School in 1964, and married the love of her life on July 1, 1967. Exactly one year later on their anniversary their first child was born. Linda spent her life loving and taking care of her family that adore her. Linda's wishes were to be cremated and each of her children will receive an urn with her ashes. Her memorial service was held Tuesday at Richard's Funeral Home in New Madrid. The family would like to especially thank G.L. Keene, pastor, and Jimmy McSpadden for their support, prayers and love.
