NEW MADRID — Mary Lou Duncan, 77, died Sept. 5, 2012, at the Heritage Gardens of Senath. She was born Aug. 11, 1935, in Aberdeen, Miss. On Feb. 4, 2006, her husband, Henry Duncan preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Walter Whitfield. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Gillespie and Michael Thomas of Liberty; one daughter-in-law, Mary Whitfield of Apple Valley, Minn.; one sister, Margaret Whitfield of New Madrid; and four grandchildren, Tiffani, Damien, Ayla and Christopher. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of services at noon Saturday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. Burial will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.
