Michael Frederick Hall passed away peacefully among family and friends May 5, 2014, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau at the age of 62.
He was born Jan. 16, 1952, in Huntington, W.Va., to Dallas and Shirlee Hager Hall who survive of New Madrid. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy as a radio operator in Pearl Harbor with occasional missions into Vietnam. He loved being a radio operator and serving his country. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR racing. He was educated in Tennessee and Hawaii and was an organ donor.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: daughter, Lynette, and grandchildren, Brianah and Michael; two brothers, Greg and Kim Hall of New Madrid and Jeff and Denise Hall of Sikeston; one sister, Gina and Bobby Smith of New Madrid; four nephews, Greg Hall Jr., Jeff Hall Jr., Dallas Hall and Gabe Smith; three nieces, Amanda Hall, Brooke Dodson and Shelby Smith; and seven great-nieces and -nephews.
No public services are planned.
Richards Funeral Home of New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
