Needa Gist NEW MADRID — Needa Faye Gist, 72, died July 21, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in New Madrid. She was born July 4, 1942, in Savannah, Tenn., to the late Perry Lee and Suzie Hughes Bryant. On Nov. 8, 1958, in Portageville, she married Donald Gist, who survives of the home. Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Rhonda Gist of New Madrid; two daughters, Lisa Gist of the home and Jana Gist and fiance' Andy Baker of Wyatt; and two granddaughters, Jessica Gist of Cape Girardeau and Brittany Gist of Jonesboro, Ark. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Elvis and Ancil Bryant. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid. Pallbearers will be: Jesse Kimball, Jerry Shaw, Chase Gist, Bill Sullenger, Eddie Jones and Robert Fowler.
