Patty Birdwell PORTAGEVILLE — Patricia Jones "Patty" Birdwell passed away June 27, 2015, at Portageville Nursing Center in Portageville at the age of 56. She was born March 7, 1959, in New Madrid, to James Ras and Barbara Seals Jones who survive of New Madrid. Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and John Powell of New Madrid; one sister, Pam Hampton of New Madrid; one half sister, Joanne Sauceman of New Orleans; two half brothers, Steve Barbre of New Madrid and Michael Prestridge of the state of Louisiana; three grandchildren, Kasey Powell, Jonathan Powell and Kassandra Bissell; and many special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Mikie Bissell. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Richards Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday with G.L. Keene officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
