Robert Joe Wilson, 50, died Aug. 12, 2014, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark. Born Oct. 28, 1963, he was the son of Mary Fowler Turrentine of Portageville and the late Perry Wilson. On Dec. 1, 1984, in New Madrid, he married Sharon Wallace who survives. In addition to his mother and wife, survivors include: two sons, Robert Wilson Jr. and Joshua Earnheart of South Dakota; one daughter, Kristin Earnheart of Gideon; two brothers, Gene Penley of Springfield and Perry Wilson of Marston; three sisters, Carol Norwood of New Madrid, Juanita Grissom of Gideon and Julie Fowler of Portageville; and three grandchildren. Visitation is from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
