FSie McMiller, 98, died Nov. 8, 2011, at Hillside Manor in St. Louis. Born Feb. 16, 1913, in Point Pleasant, he was the son of the late Angelo and Irene Malone McMiller. His wife, Hazel Sanders, preceded him in death on Oct. 7, 1994. Survivors include: one son, Walter McMiller Bates of Chicago; three daughters and one son-in-law, Earnestine McMiller of Benton Harbor, Mich., Erma Polk of St. Louis and Cheryl and Willis McGuire of Sikeston; and 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Saturday at the Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. The Rev. Jessie Dunigan officiated. Burial followed in the Lily of the Valley Cemetery at Point Pleasant.
