SIKESTON — Wesley Keene passed away May 21, 2015, at his home in Sikeston at the age of 72 years. He was born Oct. 1, 1942, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Andrew and Mildred Darnall Keene. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local 782. On Aug. 18, 1962, in East St. Louis, Ill., he was married to Linda Cobb, who survives of the home. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers: Andy "Jr." Keene, Dwayne "Sam" Keene and Gary Keene. In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Wesley M. and Stacy Keene II of Denver; one daughter, Ginger Michelle Keene of San Diego; three sisters, Judy Conyers of Wickliffe, Ky., Shelby Dodd of Fredericktown; and Tina Hartlein of Sikeston; one brother, Connie Keene of Clinton, Ky.; and four grandchildren, Trey Keene, Chynna Keene, Kailey Keene and Dalton Keene. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid. G.L. Keene will officiate.
